Nickel futures traded upward on MCX today (Sep 12).

Nickel September contract opened at Rs 857.80 a kg as compared to its previous closing at Rs 854.60 and last traded price for the same was Rs 872.10, up 2.05% (3.09 p.m. Friday).Similarly, Nickel October contract moved up 2.19% at Rs 886.60 a kg as against its earlier closing at Rs 867.60, it had opened at Rs 874. Nickel November contract rose 2.70% to touch at Rs 900 a kg as compared to its previous close of Rs 876.30.
