Jindal Poly Films reported a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 47.82% to Rs 153.10 million from Rs 293.40 million in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter rose 12.43% to Rs 3,637.40 million, while total income for the quarter rose 12.36% to Rs 3,646.80 million, when compared with the prior year period.
